Community leaders promote the commercial retail opportunities at the upcoming Chinatown - Rose Pak Station
(SAN FRANCISCO) The community leaders held an early celebration last week on March 18 to welcome the Central Subway Chinatown - Rose Pak Station open in fall this year and two commercial retail spaces at the station which are available for the public to submit leasing proposals.
Currently the Central Subway is in its testing phase, and is projected to open for service in fall 2022. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) has issued a Request for Proposals to invite the public to lease two commercial retail spaces at the Chinatown - Rose Pak Station, including a coffee shop and a dry goods concessionaire.
SFMTA begins to accept proposal from March 1. The deadline for submission of the proposal is at noon on April 6.
Supervisor Aaron Peskin invited leaders who participated in the planning of the Chinatown Rose Pak Station for decades to gather at the station for an early celebration and announced more details of two leasing opportunities at the station.
The coffee shop or drinks space which is located at the entrance of the station is approximately 145 square feet. The dry goods space is located in the station lobby approximately 234 square feet.
More details for submitting the leasing proposals can be found at the City’s website: www.SFMTA.com/ChinatownRetail under the subject of Chinatown - Rose Pak Station Commercial Retail Opportunities.
Local businesses are encouraged to submit their proposals. Both the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Self-Help for the Elderly can provide assistance to the small businesses who are interested in the lease.
