Donald Luu sworn in as President of Chinese Chamber of Commerce
(SAN FRANCISCO) Donald Luu was elected as the 107th President of the San Francisco Chinese Chamber of Commerce for 2022-2023 effective July 1. The swearing ceremony for Luu and all newly-elected members of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board was administered by Former Mayor Willie Brown on June 30.
Other new leaders at the century-old Chamber include First Vice President Harlan Wong, Second Vice President Grace Yuen, Secretary Stilwell Yang, Treasurer Robert Chiang, Assistant Treasurer Ben Man Gong, Supervisory Board President Derek Fong and Vice President George Mak.
Members of Board of Directors and Supervisory Board are Kenny Tse, Hon Keung So, Kinson Wong, Andy Zhao, Calvin Louie, Phil Chin, Chelsea Hung, Anson Hung, Katherine Zhang, Linda Chow, Michael Lau, Tony Lau, Wai Lai, Tony Zhang, Kitman Chan, Amy Lo, Doug Wong, Kenny Lau, David Luo, Eddie Au, Ringo Wong, Francis So, May Ann Wong, Gordon Chin, Ed Lew, Malcolm Yeung, Judy Lee, Michael Kay.
Luu addressed to the guests in the swearing ceremony that he was inspired by Late Chinese Chamber of Commerce Consultant Rose Pak to get involved in community service. He also stated that a large number of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) lawsuits which were filed at federal courts in recent years against Chinese American merchants would be one of his priorities to lead the Chinese Chamber.
